I heard a rumor today that within 2 weeks Apple will release a new update to the iPhone with several new applications, enough to fill up the blank row of apps and more. This will include iChat and some sort of file-moving application. You read it here first!
Sounds good. I hope it's true.
Let's check back here Sept 10th and see if the rumor was true or not.

After seeing all the rumors about the new ipods... adding those rumors to the rumor I heard... I now believe that there will be a significant iphone software update on the 5th, along with the release of all of those alleged new ipods.
80% of this prediction is just my HOPE that they'll do something. I've tried all of the hacks and am about ready to just clean install and leave the iphone un-hacked. Games aren't really fun. Ringtones are nice, but not hardly worth the hassle, all the other stuff (installer) is only cool because you can do it, not necessarily because of what you can do with it.
Not that I'm bored with my iphone per se. It's awesome! But just that it's COOL factor has sortof run its course and now I'm just sitting around waiting for the new version of Bladerunner to come out.

Well, no major software updates. I guess my source wasn't very good.
Ringtones for 99 cents? What if I want to make a ringtone of my daughter saying "Daddy, answer your d**n phone!" Guess I'll have to keep hacking my iphone. Apple just keeps getting worse and worse.
